1897-S $1 Dollar Morgan PCGS MS64DM (CAC)

HIGH END-for a 97S. We really like this coin!

Yes, it has alight grease stain and a few ticks, but overall, the mirrors are clean. The flash they offer is bold-which most 97S mirrors are not. when you twirl this coin the mirrors do have a slight watery like roll. The contrast is bold. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and are fully struck. The eye appeal is terrific!

PCGS 87, NGC 102, CAC 10. The CAC numbers should say it all. THIS DATE DOES NOT COME NICE IN DMPL. This was the last PCGS CAC DMPL to sell via auction. And back in 2015 (9 years ago) it brought $2,000.00. We think it should be worth at least $3,000.00. We do not understand the market-but it may have something to do with so many lousy pieces being in holders.
