No question about the originality of this coin. The surfaces are clean overall. You need a strong glass to see the scattered tiny ticks. We grade the reverse a full MS65. An impressive luster beams from all over. Both sides have a mix of totally original gold color with faint greenish gold toning. This coin is not like the Fairmont hoard coins. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is beautiful!
PCGS 193, NGC 113, CAC 15. CAC has beaned only one coin higher—an MS65. The last PCGS piece to sell via auction was a non-CAC coin. It bought $7,800.00 in 08/2022.
