1901 $20 Gold Liberty Type 3 PCGS MS65+SUPER HIGH END!

If you notice, many of the coins we sell are + coins. That is because we strive to buy coins that are at the top of the grade and are close to the next grade up. This coin is no exception!

SUPERB GEM surfaces are a delight to see. The cleanliness of the coin is impressive for sure. Only when using a strong glass can you see a few frost breaks and a tiny widely scattered tick or two. A full booming luster shines boldly. Both sides are a GEM original gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is great!

PCGS 371, NGC 364, CAC 46. PCGS has graded only 11 in MS65+. The last PCGS CAC example to sell via auction brought $16,800.00 01/2022 (our coin is MUCH nicer). The current Collectors Universe value is only $12,000.00-a number we totally disagree with. Keep in mind, the next step up (pop 4 CAC) would cost you at least $40,000.00 if you could even find one! No matter how tough your standards are, you WILL like this coin-we sure do!
