1901-O $10 Gold Liberty With Motto PCGS MS64 (CAC) RARE!

This is only the second MS 1901-O $10 we have ever owned or handled. It is a far rarer date then most people realize in true MS. This coin made the wait well worth while. No question this beauty has HIGH END tendencies!

We love the surfaces of this coin. To the naked eye they appear clean. Only when we used a strong glass could we see super light frost breaks and slight bagginess (and we mean slight). There are no marks that stand out. Both sides enjoy a strong luster. The color is a totally original moderate gold. This coin does have that neat “hallo” ring of faint greenish gold through the obverse stars. There are no spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is great!

PCGS 20, NGC 6, CAC 8. CAC has beaned NONE finer. The last PCGS CAC MS 64 to sell via auction brought $7,800.00 in 10/2022. The current Collectors Universe value is $9,000.00. We always look for coins like this. Remarkably, with all the $10 Libs we have handled, this is only the second 1901-O. The rarity of this date in Choice MS and higher is undisputed.
