1902 5C Nickel Liberty Head PCGS PR67CAM (CAC)

The rarity of this date in ANY grade of cameo is extreme. We consider this date to be on of the true “stoppers” for the series.

Gotta love the deep and highly reflective mirrors. The mirrors are clean and have great clarity (so important). When you twirl the coin, you do see a “watery” roll of the mirrors. There are a few tiny toning dots/patches scattered around and you really need a glass to see them (there is a patch on the reverse at 6:00). The coin overall is 100% original with nickel/pale baby blue color. There is decent contrast (your not going to find any 1902 Cams looking as bold as an 09). Miss Liberty and the details are pinpoint sharp in strike. The eye appeal is beautiful!

PCGS 9, NGC 1, CAC 7 (we are shocked). The last PCGS CAC example to sell via auction brought $5,875.00 09/2021 and prior to that one sold for $6,756.00 12/2019. This year, LRCA sold the only 67+ (the highest graded) for $15,275.00. The current Collectors Universe value is $7,000.00. Good luck on finding another-we know we are always looking for ANYTHING 1902 Cameo (especially w/Barber Proofs). We LOVE the value here. Think about it, 35+ years and PCGS has only graded 9. That’s NOTHING!
