1911-S $20 Gold St Gaudens Motto PCGS MS65 (CAC)

It’s been so hard to buy really nice GEM Saints recently. We finally got one! The quality here is a very pleasing.

Clean surfaces are not loaded up with the typical ticks and giggles these coins come with. Only when you use a strong glass can you see a light small scuff or two-there is nothing to see with the naked eye. A very decent glowing like luster can be seen. Both sides are a mix of totally original faint orange gold/yellow gold colors. There are no spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck and have delicate frost. The eye appeal is swell!

PCGS 752, NGC 371, CAC 68. The last one to sell via auction brought $7,200.00 on 03/2023. A month before it, one brought $7,500.00. It’s a myth that these are common or make frequent appearances. All price guides are too low. Plus, gold clearly has heated up again.
