1913-S $20 Gold St Gaudens Motto PCGS MS64+ (CAC) A PLEASING PIECE

This date absolutely does not come nice-not even in full GEM. Not sure why. The piece we have here is clearly above average.

We used a strong glass and looked all over. There are a few tiny cuts and scattered ticks, but no harsh bag marks. No question this coin is fully original and has a slightly dirty look. It is not that dirty as we can’t stand those coins and avoid the. The luster is above average and is easy to see. There is no question this coins orginality. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. The eye appeal is very pleasing!

PCGS 547, NGC 224, CAC 83. PCGS graded 28 in MS64+. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell via auction brought $20,400.00 01/2025. The current Collectors Universe value is a bit behind but isn’t too far off at $18,500.00. If you collector better Saints, this coin represents a very fair opportunity!
