1937-D 50C Half Dollar Walking Liberty PCGS MS67+ (CAC)

If we thought PCGs understood it, we’d send this coin in for a PL designation! In our opinion, this coin is an extremely rare prooflike piece.

You do not have to imagine the mirrors (do not they are not as crisply defined as your used to seeing on Morgan). When you twirl the coin, you do see minor “watery” mirrors roll. The mirrors also show off some even rarer-PERFECT surfaces. yes, the dreaded right field is flawless. You never ever see that. Both sides are a beautiful original white. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck with a full split thumb visible. The eye appeal is jaw dropping!

PCGS 78, NGC 38, CAC 53. PCGS has graded 21 in MS67+. The last PCGS CAC example to sell in auction brought $16800.00 04/2021. The current Collectors universe value is $18,500.00. There is NO premium at all added to this coin beast of coin for the mirrors. If you are a Walker lover, you’ll be mesmerized by this coin. You don’t see many others like it in the series!
