$20 1924-D PCGS MS64+

Unhesitatingly, we grade this coin an MS64.95+! Really!  It IS that close to full MS65.

Superior surfaces resemble what you would see on a commoner date of the 20’s. The surfaces are remarkably clean and have thick satiny texture. When using a strong glass all we could find was a TINY tick and a few light and tiny frost breaks. For sure we have seen lesser quality coins in higher holders. This coin might even better off raw (we make no promises it will ever MS65)! A full cartwheel like luster vividly beams from all over. Both sides area GEM< original deeper yellow gold color. There are NO marks or spots. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck (yes, including the nose) and have generous frost. The eye appeal is heart pounding!

PCGS 183, NGC 88, CAC 15 PCGS has graded 13 in MS64+ (we’d bet this coin has frequent flyer miles)! Its critical to know the next step up is a minimum of $75,000.00 today for a PCGS CAC coin. This is not a coin that is close to MS64, this coin is within decimals of MS65 and should be valued that way. We bought it because we graded it 64.9+. Its our kind of coin!

This coin WILL easily fit into any GEM Saint Set. If you really look at the coin and not the holder, you will buy this as a full GEM!
