This is one heck of a SUPER HIGH END coin! All we can say is WOW!
Incredible surfaces are just a tick or two away from sheer perfection. You need a glass to see them. Remarkably, this coin is mega semi-prooflike-bordering on fully prooflike. You do not have to use your imagination to see the mirrors. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors look like a freshly formed sheet of ice. The contrast is bold. Both sides are a sent from numismatic heaven original yellow gold color. There is a well hidden mini line of Mint grease on the obverse. Miss Liberty and the details are super frosty and are fully struck. The eye appeal is amazing!
PCGS 15, NGC 10, CAC 6. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell brought $57,500.00 in 01/2012! An NGC coin (not this coin-which is much nicer then the NGC coin) brought $45,000.00 01/2020. The current PCGS CAC price guide figures these for $52,600.00.
We never see these looking this awesome. For a 217 year old coin, its a real treasure!
