50C 1881 PCGS MS66+

Wrong grade! We grade it MS66.9+++! We have handled the MS67 and can tell you this coin is right up there. PCGS is extra conservative these days. This is a coin that even the pickiest person will be delighted with.

Exquisite surfaces are super smooth and clean. We used a strong glass and found nothing. Add to the fact the surfaces are semi-prooflike and enjoy a strong luster. A light mix of totally original champagne/pale navy/russet colors from the peripheries only. The centers area luscious creamy white. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and are fully struck. There is strong contrast here. The eye appeal is jaw dropping!

PCGS 15, NGC 12, CAC 6. PCGS has graded 3 in MS66+. NONE have sold via auction. The current Collectors Universe Value is $11,500.00. Note: The last regular MS66 (NO +) brought $8,225.00 01/20 while the last PCGS MS67 (NO CAC) brought $24,150.00 01/2009. This is NOT a date nor grade you will see in any frequency.
