50C 1939-D OREGON PCGS MS67+

$3,250.00

Mother Nature sure loves to show off!

Gorgeous and totally original sunset orange-red and vibrant golden/violet patina graces the surfaces of this impressive SUPERB GEM. You can see the colors for miles! Only 3,004 were struck, making it one of the lowest mintage classic commemorative half dollars, and they are quite scarce in this high a grade, and especially so with such a stunning visual allure. We love the look. The luster is bold, accenting all the colorful hues that grace both sides. Your eye balls will be stuck looking at this coins obverse!

PCGS 211, NGC 177, CAC 94. PCGS has graded just 25 in 67+. The most recent example we sold was in our January 2018 Regency Auction, bringing $1,087. This is a stunning coin worthy of a bid in excess of the current PCGS value of $1,350. Clearly a special coin that is surpassed in the population by just 33 pieces.
