$1 1921 CHAPMAN PCGS PR66

This exact coin is in our opinion (next to the PR 69 DC  1893) the greatest Proof Morgan that exists! It is an unquestionable SUPERB GEM Proof. It has been within the Legend brand since 2000! Whenever we can own it-we do! This coin is SUPER HIGH END and does border on full cameo. Amazing mirrors are deep and beam wildly from all over. Unlike the Zerbe mirrors, these mirrors exhibit on the lightest of die polish lines (you need a glass to see them). The mirrors are remarkably clear, clean, and have intense reflection. If you twirl the coin, the mirrors look like thick block of fresh frosty ice. Miss Liberty and every detail are fully struck and have thick creamy white frost. The eye appeal is so jaw dropping, your eyeballs will also fall out and roll around! PCGS 2, NGC 3, CAC 1. We are pretty sure 2 NGC’s do NOT exist. The other PCGS piece is in the Simpson Proof Morgan set. In our opinion, this coin by far is the NICEST CHAPMAN PROOF THAT EXISTS!  We can not stress enough the extreme rarity of this coin-in ANY grade. This coin last sold in a Legend auction for $120,375.00 in 2014. We paid more than that to buy it at Long Beach as we had felt that auction price was a tad low. We have seen MORE 1804 $1 and far more $1 1895’s sold then appearances of this coin in the past 16 years. We originally bought it back in 2000 for $60,375.00. We placed it with the owner of the Sugar Hill Proof Morgan Collection. It then sold in our auction in 2014 to a collector who is now breaking up his set.
