$2.5 1802/1 PCGS XF40 OGH

When ever we see NICE Early Gold thats not moon money, we buy them. This coin is super rare, is VERY high end for the grade, and is approved by CAC-which is everything to an Early Gold coin. Pleasing surfaces have NO major problems. Only with a strong glass can you see some tiny contact marks and light wear.  There actually is a slight trace of luster visible. Both side are a pretty and even deep gold color. The peripheries are highlighted by an even reddish gold around the stars. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are worn, but still offer decent strikes. The eye appeal is wonderful! ONLY 3035 were ever minted. PCGS 6, NGC 2, CAC 1. Until this coin had surfaces, NO XF 40’s had ever sold at auction. Throw the pops and prices out the window. Each Early gold coin is valued on its own merits. To find ANY Early Gold coin with a CAC bean-impossible! What we are offering this piece at is not really much above an NON CAC price. Opportunity knocks loud here!
