$3 1854 PCGS MS65+

This coin is a crisp no nonsense GEM. Overall, the surfaces are clean and have a thick satiny texture. Only when using a strong glass can you detect a small scuff and a line or two-nothing that diminishes the grade. A strong glowing luster enhances the totally original gold colors. There is a slight halo of pastel gold/baby blue -all totally original colors. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are well struck. The eye appeal is excellent! PCGS 26, NGC 8, CAC 12. PCGS has graded only 2 in MS65+. We recently placed the other coin in a collection. Neither MS65+ has ever appeared in auction. The current Collectors Universe value is $16,000.00. This si a great coin to start any Type set with or add to any $3 set.
