$5 1914D PCGS MS64+

$7,975.00

VERY HIGH END! We do know this coin cameo from an estate and has been off the market for a while. It is housed in an older blue tag holder. Years ago (when coins were raw), this coin would easily have been designated a GEM MS65. We do grade it an MS64.8+. The surfaces are remarkably clean and smooth. Only using a strong glass can you find a planchet flake or two. The dreaded right reverse field is actually clean!A strong luster illuminates the beautiful even and totally original gold colors. There are NO spots or discolorations. All of the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is fantastic! PCGS 234, NGC 243, CAC 38. PCGS has graded only 17 coins in MS64+. The last one to sell in auction brought $7,638.00 in 12/2015. This coin as we mentioned is fresh to market. An MS65 would cost at least $20,000.00-if you could even find a PCGS CAC piece. This will be a great addition to Type or $5 Indian set! we assure you, this coin is closer to being a $20,000.00+ MS65 then a $4,000.00 MS64. WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!
