What a mind boggling SUPER HIGH END GEM!
We studies this coin long and hard. We could only find a few microscopic ticks on the cheek-otherwise this is one of the most perfect Morgans we ever laid our eyes on! The surfaces are both semi-prooflike and smooth. A full booming luster enhances the moderate splashes of pale reddish gold/light olive colors that mix with silver all all over. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck and clearly exhibit strong frost. The eye appeal is neat (NOT dull or splotchy).
PCGS 545, NGC 197, CAC 23. PCGS has graded only 11 MS66+ pieces. The last one to sell in auction brought $3,818.00 06/2014 Heritage. Since we are not selling this at auction and bought it right-YOU get the savings!
