This is an amazing coin! We think it should be worth well over $20,000.00-but the market seems to need some encouragement. It is a low R-7 which means 7-12 are believed to be minted. BUT, its also from the Civil War era and is 143 years old. To find ANY coin in such an incredible state of preservation for that long is a miracle!
Struck in Copper Nickel, this coin has great quality. There are NO marks anywhere. The mirrors are quite strong, clear, and flashy. There are NO spots. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally well struck. We really do not see any reason as why this GEM is not a PR66. If you are a fan of stunning Indians, then this is a coin you need to see! PCGS 5, NGC 1. We believe this coin may very well be the finest. It is housed in an older green tag holder.
