$1 1873 TRADE DOLLAR PCGS MS65

Trade Dollars are an area we know better than anyone else having assembled the all time finest #1 set-the Legend Collection. We know what dates exist, what don’t and what something like an 1873 should look like. Take our word on this, 1873 P’s in GEM, aren’t a common P MINT!!!! They are RARE!

This piece is the epitome of originality and GEMMYNESS! The surfaces are smooth, super clean, and actually have a strong luster. Both sides are evenly toned in a rich purple/brown/pale navy combination. By no means is this a dark or drab coin. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is VERY pleasing.

We think its a tremendous statement the fact that after 20+ years of operations the pops remain BELOW double digits in GEM for this date. PCGS 9, NGC 6. PCGS has graded a total of 5 higher-including the MS67 in our set. We doubt you will ever see more than a dozen (if even) in true GEM.
