We call a coin GEMMY when it is all there and just flat out looks like a GEM.
Keep in mind these earlier pieces do not come as bright and shiny as a 1943 P. This coin has satiny surfaces that are clean and lustrous. The color is a creamy white-and is NOT a dipped out look. There is little abrasion in the right field. The luster is surprisingly strong. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. The eye appeal is excellent!
