H.10 1864S PCGS MS66

First we must admit, we know the pops are totally incorrect for this date and grade. In the all time #1 set we assembled -the Law Collection (see the PCGS registry), the 64S in MS66 has two additional tags with it. We forgot to turn them in (us bad). So, at most, this is a pop 3 coin.

There is nothing not to absolutely love about this Superb GEM. both sides display satiny and remarkably clean surfaces. A strong luster shows off some partial colors of rust/golden brown scattered about the rim areas. Miss Liberty and the details are surprisingly sharp in strike and have light frost. The eye appeal is very pretty and bold.

PCGS 3, NGC 6. None have been auctioned since 2000 (price realized then: $4,025.00). We can not stress enough how this may be your only chance to obtain one of the finest pieces that exists for this date. The one in the Law Collection certainly won’t be available for a very long time!
