25C 1920S PCGS MS65FH
$26,500.00
Many people ask us why we don’t have more Standing Quarter in inventory-we do not dislike them, its just we can never find really nice ones. So when a true GEM that looks really good and is priced right is available, we buy it!
No question after scrutinizing this coin in every possible way, that it never spent much time in a roll or as someones loose change piece. The surfaces are absolutely pristine, satiny, and an original creamy white color (this is not a dipped out retoned coin). A strong luster also enhances the exceptionally struck details. At first glance it looks more like a 1920 P than a S! The eye appeal is exceptional too!
PCGS 17, NGC 8, CAC 1 (its the ONLY FH CAC has stickered so far for a 20S in any grade). PCGS has only graded 5 coins higher, while NGC has just one. According to our computer records, the last one to appear in major public auction sold for $29,900.00 08/06 B+M James Lull Sale (another sold that year for $28,750.00 also B+M). The CDN has a ridiculous bid of $16,000.00. We will gladly short the entire pop in PCGS holders with CAC stickers at that price and allow a year for delivery! Anyone bold enough? A true GEM 1920S FH is NOT a coin you will see offered in any frequency-or even every few years (as proven by auction appearances). Opportunity knocks loud here for the serious Standing Quarter Collector.
