We have only seen one other 98O that was fully prooflike. This is not only a beautiful coin, it is a very high end one too!
From across the room you can see the glitter of the prooflike mirrors. They are about 2-3″ deep. They also are crystal clear, clean overall, and do have real reflectivity. Both sides are untoned and are a silver color. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have strong strikes. The eye appeal is fantastic!
PCGS 3, NGC 2, CAC 1. Back in 08/2010 an 1898O NON CAC sold in a heritage auction and brought $12,650.00. We do highly recommend this coin to any one building a Barber Collection or if they just collect really neat coins.
