10C 1828 SMALL DATE PCGS MS64

For those purists who love originality, you won’t get much better than this!

Both sides are exceptionally clean overall. The obverse has one or two teenie ticks which you need a glass to see. The reverse has NONE. A decent luster shows off slightly mottled ORIGINAL pewter/deep golden brown/dove gray colors. Miss Liberty and the details are crisply struck and do boldly stand out. The eye appeal is pleasing.

PCGS 4, NGC 5, CAC 2. PCGS has graded only 4 coins higher (possibly). NO CAC pieces have been sold at auction. In fact, the last 1828 SM Dt to sell at auction was back in 2006. That coin realized $3,738.00 04/06 Heritage. We are pleased to own and offer this very rare date.
