1C 1826 PCGS MS66BN N-7 NAFTZGER
$13,500.00
This coin was sent from heaven! If it were in an MS67BN holder, we’d still LOVE it every bit as much!!!
Mind boggling ultra clean and smooth satiny surfaces cover both sides. The luster is strong and has a full cartwheel look. The surfaces are colored an ORIGINAL even chocolate brown with a blush of totally ORIGINAL blue. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have extra sharp strikes. There is slight weakness in a star or two-which my be the ONLY reason it is not an MS67. The eye appeal is breathtaking!
PCGS 4, NGC 1, CAC 1. Back in 2009, this coin auctioned for $4,830.00 in the naftzger Goldberg sale. That price was waaay too cheap. We think a SUPERB GEM like this should be worth at least $20,000.00. You are certainly never going to see many pieces that are similar. And how many 1826 MS66 coins (of any denomination) do you EVER see?
