$20 1912 PCGS MS65

This is an “old friend” we are happy to have back. We sold it to a “crackout” dealer who thought (like us) it was a lock MS65+. PCGS obviously yet again said nope. So the deal was we’d buy it back if nothing was done to the coin. We’re thrilled to have this great coin back!

We have seen numerous MS65+ Saints that do not look as good as this coin. First, for a 1912 it has exceptional luster. The surfaces are satiny and have NO major problems. Both sides are super frosty and have totally ORIGINAL deep yellow gold colors. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is superb!

PCGS 31, NGC 17, CAC 10 (we know this coin is 2-3 beans). The last PCGS/CAC coin to sell in major auction brought $26,450.00 08/2011. That was then fast forward to now-when have any of these appeared lately? NOT!
