Superb surfaces are remarkably clean and smooth. Using a strong glass you can see some light dies lines (Mint made) and a tiny tick-nothing serious at all. The luster is really strong and is unbroken. There is a trace of semi-prooflike mirrors on the obverse. The obverse is completely covered by glorious circular pale rainbow like original colors of violet/blue/pale green/gold. The reverse has the same around the peripheries that open onto creamy white centers. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have crisp sharp strikes. The eye appeal is gorgeous!
PCGS 41, NGC 44, CAC 14. The last one to sell in auction brought $4,406.00 04/2014. We last sold this coin to a dealer in 2010 for $4,650.00. We love old friends like this!
