Clearly, this is one of the greatest 1876 1C Proofs that survive! Unless there is a monster RED out there, this piece very well could be the finest known. Also, the eye is dazzling, we have trouble putting this coin away for the night!
Incredible ULTRA deep mirrors wildly beam from all over. The mirrors are also crystal clear, have ZERO imperfections, and are nearly blinding with reflectivity. The mirrors actually have that”rolling watery” look when you twirl them (rare and unusual). Both sides are a heart pounding original mix of iridescent chocolate brown/red/gold/pale pearl green colors. Miss Liberty and the details barely miss being labeled a cameo. They have needle sharp strikes with thick original golden frost. The eye appeal is PHENOMENAL!
