$1 1863 PCGS PR66 CAMEO

RED HOT TUNA! WOW what marvelous SUPERB GEM piece this is! We can not imagine a better 1863 (there are only 2 graded higher). Shimmering deep mirrors beam boldly from all over. The mirrors are sleek, have great clarity, are remarkably clean, and are highly reflective. If you twirl the coin its like looking at a freshly formed sheet of ice. A moderate mix of totally original royal blue/violet/gold frame the peripheries on the obverse. The reverse is 100% evenly toned a GEM original blue/purple color. This is NOT a dull or drab coin. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have thick creamy white frost. The eye appeal is super! ONLY 460 were minted. PCGS 2, NGC 1, CAC 3. PCGS has graded only one PR66+ and one PR67 higher. There are NO DCameos certified by PCGS-in ANY grade. The current Collectors Universe value is only $41,500.00-which seems very cheap. NOTE: A similar date and grade: an 1864 sold 1/2017 for $47,000.00.
