25C 1796 PCGS AU53

We are madly in love with this SUPER HIGH END and extremely rare coin. This coin is by far the highlight of this round of NEWPS. Legend had placed this coin with a collector years ago. It is new to the market now. To start, 1796 25C are available. However, if we had to guess, 2/3 have been cleaned or messed with in some way. After carefully examining this coin, there i not question it is unmessed with. The surfaces are remarkably clean and sleek. The surfaces are also prooflike. Even using a strong glass you do not see any hidden problems-just an old scattered tick or two. A tremendous amount of booming luster remains-you do not have to strain to see it. Sensational album like toning of navy/purple/deep pewter swirls on the obverse. The reverse may have been sitting on felt and has stunning deep blue/gold/rose/silver colors.  all over. This coin is totally original in every respect. Miss Liberty and every detail are very well struck. There is flatness on the eagles breast. The eye appeal is gorgeous! PCGS 8, NGC 5, CAC 5. There has not been ANY PCGS AU53 sold via auction since 2006. Last we counted, that was 12 years ago! For ALL 1796 25C pieces in AU and higher, ALL published pricing is wrong. Just know, there really is never such a thing as paying too much for a legit quality eye appealing 1796 25C. We determined our selling price via other transactions we know of. You are not going to see a PCGS CAC coin any cheaper. This coin will be a standout in ANY collection-even an all MS set. We can not stress enough the extreme rarity of finding one of these that is not messed with. Once it is sold, good luck finding another-in ANY grade of AU!
