$10 1853/2 PCGS MS61 SS CENTRAL AMERICA

$39,750.00

Like the 1852 $20, this amazing coin was either from the crew or the passengers. It is also VERY high end and was exceptionally preserved. Even in the regular world you will never find a 53/2 as nice. These come in lower AU grades and they are usually toned and just ugly. This coin is a stud muffin by a long stretch. The surfaces have nothing more then superficial lines and a few scattered light ticks. There are NO scuffs. A full blazing luster intensely beams all over. Both sides enjoy a brilliant gold color Even having been in the muck for 155+ years, this coin has no spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally well struck. The eye appeal is phenomenal! This was the ONLY 1853/2 on the ship. PCGS had graded only 2 coins MS61 and only one MS62 (the finest). We must again state this coin is closer to a an MS62 then a 61. It is critical to note, of all MS coins, this is the ONLY one beaned by CAC. That is such a powerful statement. This coin has the ultimate of everything: quality, rarity, and one heck of a story (and its real treasure)! Even the pickiest buyer WILL love this coin. Only 3154 coins were salvaged in the 2014 expedition (the final one). Again, this was the ONLY 1853/2 $10 in MS found. ALL coins have now been graded. Clearly, this coin represents a once in a life time opportunity.
