$20 1862-S PCGS AU58+

This is a wonderful HIGH END coin. We call it a SUPERB GEM AU for sure! Terrific, clean and smooth, surfaces adorn both sides. Only using a strong glass can you detect a few very minor and widely scattered ticks. It’s really hard to find ANY wear too. There is no “dirty” toning. This coin has never been dipped. Both sides are a totally original GEM gold color. There are no spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is great! PCGS 66, NGC 151, CAC 33. PCGS has only graded 2 in AU58+ -and Legend owns he other piece! It should be noted a NON CAC piece sold for $6,900.00 04/2018. There is a CU Value of $9,000.00. In fact, the last CC piece to sell in auction was an NGC 58 CAC. That coin brought $9,693.00 in 01/2017. We unhesitatingly pronounce this the better of the 2 coins.
