25C 1916 PCGS MS66 FH

We could not have picked a better coin as the first MS66FH we have ever owned (we have owned numerous MS65’s). This coin is totally original and is totally a SUPERB GEM! Outstanding surfaces are as fine as you can dream of. We used a strong glass and looked really hard and found NO imperfections or ANY size, ANY where. It clearly appears this coin left the bank 102 years ago and just sat some where safely undisturbed ever since. The luster is good and can be seen easily. Both sides are blanketed by a totally original moderate mix of pale champagne/golden brown colors with some russet borders.  No  question this coin has never been dipped or messed with. Most important, Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. You do not need a glass to see the rivets in the shield or the full head. The eye appeal is great! PCGS 18, NGC 19, CAC 5.The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $52,875.00 06/2018-in a LRCA sale. The collector has changed direction and is now aggressively building a killer set of something else. We took this coin back in trade. It is important to know that a PCGS CAC MS67 FH (if you could even find one) would cost at least $150,000.00-easily. If you are a demanding quality oriented collector and love a totally original look, this coin belongs in your collection!
