This is an absolutely mind boggling killer GEM. It is absolutely just shy or an MS67 DMPL grade. The picture does not to do it justice.

Incredible surfaces are covered by mirrors which are as deep and clean as you can find. We rank the mirrors as 10″+. Plus, the mirrors are crystal clear (we mean ZERO haze). There are a few light scattered ticks which are magnified by the deep mirrors blast. When you twirl the coin the flash is powerful it can almost knock you off your feet! The contrast is full ULTRA BLACK AND WHITE. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The frost looks 3-D and is thick and unbroken. Her cheek has that really rare rolling frost look. Most important, the cheek is perfect-something you rarely ever see. The eye appeal is so incredible its impossible to put this coin away or forget about it!

PCGS 86, NGC 92, CAC 14. PCGS has graded only 7 in MS66+ DMPL. No PCGS CAC’s have ever been sold via auction. The current Collectors Universe Value is totally wrong for this date in MS66 and up.
