We fully agree with this coins grade. These do NOT come looking like 1927’s!
Wonderful surfaces are pretty clean overall. Only with a strong glass can you find a tick or two well hidden. Nothing stands out. A good luster enhances the totally original colors. Both sides are an even and totally original gold/orange gold color. There are NO discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details have light frost and are well struck. The eye appeal is excellent!
PCGS 1218, NGC 661, CAC 45. The last PCGS CAC MS65+ sold in auction for $5,053.00 01/2017. Prior to that, the last to sell was back in 2014 when one realized $5,287.00. ALL current price guides are way off for this date and grade. These certainly do NOT grow on trees!
