1853 Pattern J-151 1C PCGS PR66 (CAC) AWESOME! EX LEMUS
$7,500.00
This is an R-6 21-30 minted. It is possibly the finest graded! This coin was believed to have been stuck from 40% nickel and 60% copper. It was struck from the dies of an 1853 $2.5. How cool is all that?
Moderate mirrors are very clean and sleek overall. Only when using a strong glass can you find a single dead fleck in the fields. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors have a glassy like look. You can see good flash all over. There is no haze. The color is a GEM original nickel like look. Miss Liberty and the details are all fully struck. The eye appeal is great!
PCGS 2, NGC 0, CAC 1. This coin has no records of being traded. Some how, there is a Collector Universe value of $8,500.00. A PCGS CAC MS65+ did sell for $6,750.00 back in 2018. Being the finest known of the date, we know our price represents a very good value.
