1892-CC $1 Dollar Morgan PCGS MS65+ (CAC) A GORGEOUS TONER! EX SONNIER!

This SUPER HIGH END GEM has been off the market since we sold the Sonnier collection almost 20 years ago! We were disappointed it only a got a +. We think its a strong shot MS 66 (obviously PCGS does not).

Brian Sonnier was godfather of toner collecting in the 1990’s. He amassed one of the greatest collection of toners EVER. Those in the know are still talking about his coins. Rarely have they reappeared on the market. We were thrilled when the owner of this coin contacted us.

Of course all the colors rank an easy 9+ on our 1-10 color scale (10 is the best). There are luscious shades of pale iridescent green/blue/gold and deeper lilac on the obverse. The reverse is coated with a deep champagne mix. Finding any CC w/real color is RARE! Sonnier sure knew how to find them!

We consider this GEM to be a piece of numismatic royalty.
