1917-D 25C Quarter Standing Liberty, Type 1 PCGS MS67FH+ (CAC) A MONSTER TONED GEM! EX JUST HAVING FUN
$39,500.00
From the Black Cat Collection (he now has an MS68FH). This is a famous and well know piece. It has both MONSTER colors and quality. Obviously, this piece was carefully saved since the day it left the Mint!
No question this coin is the epitome of perfection. We mean it. We used a strong glass and really gave this coin a look over and found NADA. This is a Standing 25C Picasso would dream about. Rich and totally original shades of evergreen/deep golden brown/crimson/navy swirl all over. We unhesitatingly rank the colors a full 9+ on our 1-10 color scale (10 is the best). Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and do stand out. The eye appeal is powerful and will make your jaw drop and lock!
PCGS 32, NGC 31, CAC 13. PCGS has graded 5 in MS67+ FH. We found no records of any MS 67+ CAC pieces ever selling via auction. FYI: The Simpson MS 67 FH brought $38,400.00 in 2021.Some how, there is a $30,000.00 Collectors Universe value (obviously low). We not asking crazy money for this coin (a wild 17-D TY I PCGS MS66 FH CAC brought $40,800.00 in 2012-not this coin). OMG, had this coin been in that sale-who knows what it would have brought.
