This is a HIGH END and VERY pleasing GEM!
Superior surfaces are mark free. There is only one microscopic tick we could find using a strong glass. The luster is typical for a 12S-moderate. Both sides have a natural even patina of deep nickel/pewter colors. We saw a toning dot or two and there are some toning lines (well hidden). Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck (far more so than most we have seen). The eye appeal is pleasing!
PCGS 270, NGC 101, CAC 45. PCGS has graded 40 in MS65+. The last PCGS CAC example to sell via auction brought $6,300.00 05/2022. The current Collectors Universe value is $4,500.00. This coin will make a great ending to any choice MS Liberty Nickel set.
