We wish the CACG holders weren’t so thick. Regardless, this is one heck of a coin and it is SUPER HIGH END!
Deep and pure mirrors have not a single line or mark that we can find using a strong glass. The mirrors have excellent clarity. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors have a slight roll but look more like a freshly made sheet of glass. Both sides are blanketed by a light mix of totally natural lilac/pale green/blue/purple/gold colors. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is wonderful!
There is a light patch of toning below the cheek. It does NOT distract from the coins eye appeal or grade.
Only 551 minted. PCGS 18, NGC 24, CAC 6. CAC has beaned only 6 higher. The current Collectors Universe value is $4,000.00. Your not going to see many nice examples of this date being offered in the higher grades.
