1920 $20 Gold St Gaudens Motto PCGS MS64+ (CAC) VERY HIGH END!

Having bought and sold the only CAC 1920 PCGS MS65 piece, we know what both parties are looking for. This coin is awful close! No question this coin ranks as having VERY HIGH END quality!

Extra clean surfaces appear problem free. Even when you use a strong glass, all you can find is a tick or two here and there. Nothing is deep or stands out. The surfaces are also a thicker satiny smooth texture. An extra sharp glowing luster beams all over. Both sides are a GEM original even gold color. There are no spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are free of stacking marks and are well struck. The eye appeal sure looks GEMMY!

PCGS 1151, NGC 454, CAC 92. PCGS has graded 114 in MS64+ (not suprisngly). PCGS has graded only 3 in MS65-and the lone CAC MS 65 is locked up in the Half Dome Collection. The last PCGS MS64+ CAC to sell via auction brought $20,400.00 in 08/2024. The current Collectors Universe value is $24,500.00. We applaud PCGS for holding the line on grading MS65’s. We have seen quite a few that are close. If CAC were to bean another MS65 today, it would easily be a $250,000.00+ coin! This coin will be a great fit in any GEM Saint collection.
