Bold semi prooflike surfaces really have lots of dazzling flash. The mirrors are 4-5″ and have incredible cleanliness and clarity. There are just a MICROSCOPIC thin line or two that keep this from MS68. You have to really look hard to see them. When you twirl the coin, besides an intense luster, the mirrors do have a watery like roll. The contrast is intense too. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have generous thick frost. Her cheek is as clean as they come. The eye appeal is better than most MS 68’s!
PCGS 30, NGC 132, CAC 70. PCGS has graded 10 in MS67+. We’d put this coin against ANY of them! We paid strong for this coin because of its quality and eye appeal. THIS IS NOT AN AVERAGE COIN!
