1908 $5 Gold Indian Head PCGS MS65+ (CAC) SUPERB!

This coin is a no question GEM+. It has become nearly impossible to find ANY PCGS CAC GEM $5 Indians these days.

Fabulous surfaces are satiny smooth (and most important) are exceedingly clean. Even the dreaded right reverse field is way above average in cleanliness. Even better: we used a strong glass to look around and found only a scattered tiny tick or two. Nothing serious of any size (note there is a thin line on the reverse-not in the dreaded right field tho). A strong luster glows from all over (more than typical for a 1908). Both sides are an even original GEM gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. All of the details are frosty and are sharply struck. The eye appeal is excellent!

PCGS 268, NGC 116, CAC 63. PCGS has graded 28 in MS65+. The last PCGS CAC example to sell via auction brought $15,000.00 in 01/2025. The current Collectors Universe value is $18,000.00. Today unquestionably ALL gold like this worth more-if you can even find GEM gold. If you are waiting for an MS66, the line is long and forgettabout finding one these days. We assure you, if one were to pop up, it would cost a fortune.
