1918/7-D 5C Nickel Buffalo Type 2 PCGS AU58 (CAC) A SUERB GEM AU!

What is Legend doing with a coin like this? We bought it and the 58+ (which is sold) because we are doing much more with GEM ORIGINAL Buffalo Nickels. For an 18/7-D, this coin is remarkable. We rank it as VERY HIGH END quality!

Immaculate surfaces are so ever dreamy and are so ever original. We used a strong glass and found NO imperfections anywhere. That means NO flecks or spots. Even though there is a touch of softness in the strike, overall, the strike is above average. This is NOT a flat coin. Both sides are a deep nickel color with hints of pale gold-all original. The eye appeal is great!

PCGS 43, NGC 26, CAC 8. 8 CAC’s is practically nothing if that amount is correct (we know one of the 8 is the 58+). There are only 13 beaned higher. To us, a Buffalo without a bean is not accurately graded. Sorry. In all, you can NOT find many TRUE QUALITY examples of this date. The current Collectors Universe value is $28,500.00. This coin is worth every penny of our asking price. A perfect coin for a HIGH END AU or even a strong MS set!
