Nearly immaculate surfaces have no marks. Only when you use a strong glass can you see some Mint made light striations. The surfaces do look satiny. A strong luster illuminates some light color. Totally original pale golden brown frames part of the rims on both sides. The centers are a deeper silvery/faint gold color. No question this coin is totally original. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 1, NGC 3, CAC 3. Apparently there are 2 MS67+. This coin brought $38,400.00 08/2024. We recently acquired it and paid $40,000.00. The current Collectors Universe value is $47,500.00. Coins like this simply do not exist anymore. And it’s a Civil War era date!
