What a coin! For sure it is knocking on MS66 door (we no promises). We do rank the coin as VERY HIGH END!
PCGS showed this coin no mercy when grading it. Save for some Mint made die polishing lines (you need a glass to see them), there re no impairments. Not only do the surfaces have luster, there are semi-prooflike mirrors (no imagination needed). The color is an original rich gold with pale orange mixed in. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and do stand out. The eye appeal is fabulous!
PCGS 232, NGC 205, CAC 52. PCGS has graded 13 in MS65+. Obviously ALL price guides are behind these days. Finding ANY GEM CAC gold is near impossible. This is a great coin destined for a great set!
