Nothing worse than a few LIGHT and stray lines can be detected with a strong glass. The surfaces are satiny smooth. The color is a totally original deep gold/pale orange gold. There are NO discolorations or stains. Miss Liberty and the details are very well struck. The eye appeal of this piece is super!
Only 2630 were ever minted. Keep in mind, in 1864 we were right smack in the middle of a major Civil War. So having lots of survivors seems slim. PCGS 39 NGC 43, CAC 5.
