Of course we used a strong glass and examined the coin all over. We found ZERO imperfections. The mirrors are as deep and strong as you could imagine. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors have a watery like roll. The obverse is a treasure trove of gorgeous iridescent and totally original colors of gold/pearl green/reddish gold. The colors bleed onto the reverse rims. Picasso could not have picked better colors. Miss Liberty and every detail stand out with needle sharp strikes. The eye appeal is jaw dropping!
PCGS 44, NGC 66, CAC 12. PCGS has graded 5 in PR68+. NGC does have 2 PR69’s (which actually maybe worth a lot even worth out a bean). Be glad this monster of a coin is not in auction. For sure in todays market it would easily bring a record price. For sure this coin will be a highlight of anyone’s Proof Merc set.
