1911-D $2.50 Gold Indian PCGS MS65 (CAC) SUPERB!

This coin is a real, no question, above average MS65 GEM! CAC certainly won’t allow anything marginal with its bean on better gold. We unhesitatingly rank this coin as SUPER HIGH END!

First and most impressive, we can’t see any lines or significant ticks. Even using a strong glass, this coin is super clean. The feared right reverse has been subdued and is remarkably clean. That’s highly unusual. A good luster also showcases a beautiful, original, even gold color. There are no spots or discolorations. Every detail is frosty and has a striking sharpness to it. The eye appeal is wonderful!

PCGS 30, NGC 85, CAC 11 (we’d bet there is at least one regrade in the pop). The current Collectors Universe value is only $70,000.00. We have to pay up to buy this GEM. Keep in mind, there is at least two MS65+ that we know is CAC (we just placed one). So at most there are only 9 MS65 with the bean. If you are building a top GEM set, this coin has everything you are looking for!

Opportunities to find GEM examples simply do not exist. CAC has only beaned 1 MS66 (it is a 66+)—and that is an MS66+ that we paid $312,000.00 for that is now locked up in Half Domes set.
