The quality here is all there and then some! No question this coin is SUPER HIGH END in our ranking system. It is housed in an older blue tag holder too.
Overall, the surfaces are seriously above average in terms of cleanliness and satiny texture. The dreaded right reverse is extra clean. A very good luster beams all over. Both sides are a GEM original deeper gold with some pale orange gold color mixed in. There are NO spots or discolorations. Every detail is pinpoint sharp in strike. The eye appeal is great!
PCGS 191, NGC 139, CAC 44. CAC has beaned only 1 coin higher (MS 66). The last PCGS CAC piece to sell via auction brought $7,200.00 05/2025. Do not let the pops fool you. This is a date and grade that does not appear frequently. We assume there are far more than 44 people building CHOICE/GEM sets. There are no other PCGS CAC pieces on the market that we know of. This coin is worthy of any top GEM set!
